Champagne Bollinger Special Cuvee Brut

In1829, Paul Renaudin and Joseph-Jacob-Placide Bollinger, went into business as partners with Athanase-Louis-Emmanuel de Villermont establishing a champagne trading company engaged in the purchase and sale of Champagne. In 2017, Charles-Armand de Belenet was appointed Chief Executive Officer. Champagne Bollinger has 405 acres of vineyards with 85% Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites spread across seven vineyards with an emphasis on Pinot Noir.

This bottling is composed of 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier aged for 7-8 years in the bottle. This wine is powerful and rich with a backbone of Pinot Noir, yet is refined at the same time. This wine opens with a creamy mousse followed aromas of toasted brioche. It has a core layered with caramelized red apples, candied lemons and chalky minerality balanced with racy acids making it approachable and enjoyable now.
