Since 1990, Evenstad Reserve has been their flagship wine. An artful blend of multiple Dijon clones from multiple vineyards, it’s a winner of numerous accolades and awards. The 2018 is dark and brooding. A dark ruby red, it slowly reveals aromas and flavors of dark cherry, dusty mocha, and baking spices. Dense and savory with delicate acidity Be patient and lay this wine down a couple of years to release its multi-faceted charms. More generous when revisited the next day.
