The Bergstrom Vineyard Dundee Hills 2019 is enjoyable right from the start. It reveals a bright ruby red color with purple-pink edges. The aromas show pretty violets, ripe mixed berries, meatiness, exotic spices, and notes of minerality. You get a sense of freshness and exuberance that stimulates all your senses as you wait to taste this beauty. The palate has purity and youthfulness. There are juicy red fruits, smooth silky tannins and delicate acidity holding the flavors to a persistent and focused finish. It goes on for minutes. The 2019 Bersgtrom Dundee Hills AVA Pinot Noir is impressive and delicious now but will reward those who are patient for a few additional years of cellar age.
