The aromas of fresh juicy raspberry, strawberry, and red plum, as well as hints of spice, black tea, red licorice, and sweet saddle leather. On the palate the wine has an expansive character showing bright acidity and firm, chewy tannins that merge to create a supple texture that accentuates the cherry and baked blackberry flavors, with notes of nutmeg and ginger that emerge on the finish with perfect balance to create a sumptuous and sophisticated experience.
