This multi-cloned Pinot Noir is sourced from the Eastern slopes of the vineyard. It is the last vineyard block to be picked during harvest. The cool, morning sunlight allows the fruit from this vineyard to ripen slowly. Glistening ruby in the glass, the wine is vibrant, graceful and precise in its expression. An enchanting bouquet of dried rose petals and cinnamon greets you on the entry. A sophisticated mid-palate of creme de cassis and juicy tart cherries leads you to savory notes of rosemary, underbrush and rustic spices. The wine is well-balanced with purity and a lift of tension leading to an elegant conclusion.
