The 2022 La Biblioteca Rare Imprint Pinot Noir is a blend of Heirloom clones of Pinot Noir, primarily 777 sourced from the Aegrina Vineyard in the McMinnville AVA. It is aged for 14 months in French Oak barrels (30% new). This Pinot Noir shimmers in the light with a clear ruby hue that reveals a restrained bouquet of crushed peonies. The wine has a natural purity with an elegant inner core of rhubarb, cranberry, finely crushed minerals and sandalwood. There is a nice interplay between tension and acidity throughout the wine. This wine reveals a sense of refinement, grace and youthful energy that is sure to evolve with time.
