The 38-acre Soberanes Vineyard is adjacent to Gary’s Vineyards and is part of the shared undertaking between the Pisoni and Franscioni families. It is situated on an eastward facing alluvial terrace with loamy, rocky sub-soils in the Santa Lucia Highlands. The wine undergoes native yeast fermentation and is aged for 17 months in 30% New French Oak barriques.

The lovely pale yellow color flaunts graceful pastry and ripe melon aromas. On the palate the wine is brimming with layers of honeyed pears, lemon curd, slivered almonds and vanilla bean wrapped with sweet spices. The core is laser focused and nicely balanced with intricate nuances along with fresh acidity and finely crushed stones. The stylish finish is long and classy. This Lucia by Pisoni wines shows the same finesse and pedigree as the Pisoni Estate Vineyards and are great values.
