2022 Testarossa Rosella’s Vineyard Chardonnay

Director of Winemaking, Bill Brosseau, has been with Testarossa since 2000. Bill studied at UC Davis where he received his Bachelor of Science in Viticulture and Enology. His unique approach to winemaking comes from working both sides of the equation — in the vineyard and in the cellar. Because Bill is also a grower at his family’s vineyard, he brings invaluable hands-on experience and a unique perspective that allows him to supply the winery with only the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay fruit to translate into the most sought-after wines.

The delicate yellow hue unfolds with a tropical floral bouquet of citrus blossoms and a hint of slivered, toasted almonds. On the palate, there is a burst of white peach, citron and honeysuckle with an whisper of ginger and spiced pears in the background. As you delve deeper into the core, you notice a slight salinity along with a subtle mineral backbone of limestone. This is a well textured and expansive Chardonnay that has a mouthwatering, juicy flavor profile and keeps your attention with each sip as it flows to a graceful finish.
