Champagne Taittinger Brut La Francaise

The house of Champagne Taittinger was founded in Reims, France in 1734. They own 712 acres of vineyards including many grand cru parcels in the in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims regions.

The Taittinger Brut Réserve is a blend of Chardonnay (40%), Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier (60%) wines from over 35 different vineyards and multiple vintages. The Taittinger Brut La Françaiseis is aged on the lees for nearly four years.

The house of Champagne Tattinger is well-known for their distinctive elegant expression in the glass. This Champagne is no exception. A subtle graham cracker crust aroma greets you on opening with white flower blossoms in the background. The elegance is immediately apparent with Bartlet pears, spiced apples and a hint of light chalk. It remains lively and well balanced through the finish.
