2019 Lynmar Estate Susanna’s Vineyard Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast

Lynn Fritz received a BA from Georgetown University and JD from Lincoln School of Law. He had a 30 year career in founding a third party logistics company as chairman and CEO of Fritz Companies. In 1990 he established Lynmar Estate Winery in Sebastopol, Sonoma County California. Lynn and his wife Anisya are stewards of four vineyards, which emphasize sustainability and a respect for the land. Lynn’s business savvy and acumen accounts for the continuing success and accolades the winery has received.

Susanna’s vineyard is located in the cool climate of Green Valley within the Russian River Valley. This vineyard planted in 2006 was a gift from Lynn to his wife Anisya. There are 10 acres of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir planted on this site.

Medium garnet in appearance this is an exotically designed Pinot Noir. The fragrant aromas unfold in waves of dusty rose petals, lavender and freshly ground cloves. The heavenly entry is soft and alluring with undertones of dried strawberries, pomegranate, cinnamon bark, baking spices and finely chiseled mineral notes. This seamlessly crafted wine is a model of refined purity with polished tannins and delicately tapered edges that promise immediate pleasure.
