The Truchard vineyard is 400 acres of contiguous parcels of land located in the Los Carneros appellation of Napa Valley benefiting from the cooling fog and moderating temperatures of the San Pablo Bay.

This 100% Chardonnay is aged for 10 months in 30% new French Oak barrels. Pouring a luminous pale gold color, the 2023 Truchard Vineyard Chardonnay shimmers with vitality offering a bouquet of freshly picked orchard apples along with ripe tropical fruits. Notes of Bosc Pear and white nectarine herald notes of yellow citrus, lemon curd and tangerine zest that add brightness. A subtle backbone of acidity lends freshness and energy to the wine along with a delicate nuance of vanilla and oak. While immediately appealing, this wine will continue to evolve over the next decade.
